Wood Al Majal officially opened the Basra Technical Training Centre (BTTC) — Iraq’s first-of-its-kind vocational
training facility—on 21 April 2025, in a ceremony attended by Iraqi Government officials and senior energy leaders,
celebrating the first cohort of BTTC students who successfully completed a five-month pilot program.
